A Gymnastics Club for all.
Fuego Gymnastics is a space where children grow, belong, and shine, created by someone who’s lived the transformation herself.

From Gymnast to Festival Performer to Founder
Amalia was just 3 years old when she joined gymnastics, at 6 she was competing at national level but it wasn’t until she was 19 years old when she joined her country’s first-ever festival gymnastics team. She didn’t start out as the most naturally gifted gymnast, but what she discovered was far more powerful: the joy of movement, the thrill of performance, and the deep sense of belonging, that comes from cheering others on and being cheered for in return.
That experience, and one unforgettable coach who saw her, believed in her, and celebrated her for who she was, sparked a lifelong love of gymnastics. It built her confidence. It shaped her identity. And it planted the seed for what would eventually become Fuego Gymnastics.
Fuego Was Built for the Child Who...
Feels shy or overlooked in big, competitive environments
Loves to move, but needs gentle encouragement
Lights up in creative, rhythmic, or team-based activities
Needs a safe space to build confidence on their terms
Is a great gymnast but also, loves to perform, cheer others and have fun.
Amalia created Fuego to be the kind of club she wishes she had more of growing up. A place where children don’t need medals to matter. Where they can grow strong in their bodies and brave in their spirits.
Gymnastics for All.
Festival Vibes in Every Class.
We combine general gymnastics, rhythmic elements, and group choreography to create inclusive classes that build not just skills, but joy, expression, and community. Every child is welcomed. Every child is supported. And every child is cheered for.
Our sessions are designed to help children feel:
Safe
Celebrated
Proud of their progress
Inspired to try again
You’ll Know Us By Our Energy.
We believe in kindness, creativity, and cheering kids on. Whether we’re helping with a handstand or sharing a high-five, we bring warmth, training, and passion to every session.

Head CoachI am originally from Venezuela and a proud mother of three boys. My journey in gymnastics began at the age of three, and by the time I was six years old, I was already competing at the national level. Throughout my early years, I had the privilege of participating in all the major tournaments across the country, building not only my skills but also my passion for the sport.
At the age of nineteen, I was honoured to be selected as a member of Venezuela's first-ever display gymnastics team. This incredible opportunity led me to represent my country at the World Gymnaestrada in 2003, a defining moment that I cherish as the pinnacle of my gymnastics career.
Coaching has always been a natural part of my journey. Even at the age of eleven, I was already coaching younger gymnasts at my club. Later, when I began my studies in engineering at university, my passion for gymnastics remained strong. Alongside a friend, I founded a display gymnastics club, continuing to share my love for the sport and inspire others.
After graduating, I moved to Scotland to work as an engineer, which led me to make the difficult decision to retire from competitive gymnastics at the age of twenty-four. However, my heart never left the gym. Coaching and creating my own club had always been my true calling. Today, my club is not only the realisation of my personal dream but also the dream of many gymnasts who have trained with me along the way. Together, we continue to build a community that celebrates passion, perseverance, and the joy of gymnastics.

CoachMy name is Fern and I’ve been coaching cheerleading and gymnastics for over 5 years. I started as an artistic gymnast when I was 5 years old and moved into cheerleading at 11 where I competed levels 1-4. I started teaching as a junior assistant coach in 2019 and have worked my way up to being fully qualified in over 3 levels and coaching 6 teams across novice/elite and international. I’m very excited for my new journey working with Amalia at Fuego Gymnastics.
